Lovely place. Walked in and felt like I was among family. Food was absolutely delicious, hot and fresh. Service was outstanding, from all of the staff, including the owner, Gus. I used to live in the area, and I can't believe that I've never stopped here before. Definitely will be returning in the future!

I've been going here for lunch for years and have always enjoyed Gus's Diner. Gus and his wait staff are always super friendly, the food is consistently good, and the 50's diner decor is fun atmosphere.

Eating here is the most beautiful and fulfilling experience you can have at a diner. It’s impossible to describe the atmosphere and vibe of this place. You just feel at home. My boyfriend and I come here almost every weekend and we will continue to do so forever.

They always have delicious food and some of the best cream of chicken rice soup I’ve ever had. Friendly & fast service. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I love this restaurant! They prepare high quality dishes, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that restaurant is well trained, I like a lot eating all their food. The dishes are consistently of high class, the service towards the clients is good. I frequently visit this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it with no hesitation.

I can't even express how much I love coming to Gus'. To walk in today and see the people whom I assist sitting right at the front and Gus with a big smile on his face behind the counter just touched my heart. The food is great, the service is amazing and if you haven't visited Gus' yet, I highly recommend you do.

Nice place, the interior is tasteful and has a nice lay out. The staff is very polite and attentive. The prices seemed a bit high while looking at the menu but when my meal arrived the price was fitting. I got a burger with fries that was plenty filling. The meal came with a cup of soup, I chose the veggie soup and it had lots of flavor.

The management, i.e. Gus, is an amazing gentleman who's incredibly accommodating. Very clean spot, fast service.Food was really nothing to call home about. Basic diner breakfast food. More so that it was just bland. I ordered the lumberjack skillet which is simply corn beef hash with eggs. The corn beef was just boring. Potatoes are potatoes. The pecan pancakes were candied pecans with what tasted like big brand bulk Maple syrup. Wish I hadn't ordered both. My co-worker ordered oats which normally is a safe bet, but it just looked straight watery.Go there for the environment and the service. Do not go the for the food.If I didn't appreciate Gus as much as I do, I'd probably have given it a 2 star just for the sheer rate at which the food got to the table.

Gus's is a fun, family oriented breakfast and lunch spot that brings back the feel of a 1950s diner. It's good food, served by friendly people. Gus is usually on site to welcome you and make sure that you come in as a customer and leave as part of the family. Most of the servers are actually related, which makes for good, entertaining conversation. The breakfast is always good. So good, in fact, that I cannot comment on lunch. Whenever I go, I have breakfast. It's simply good comfort food, just like home. Without the mess.....Looking for breakfast in Rolling Meadows? Give Gus's Diner a try.

Loved their Coffee and Jewel in the Crown "Banana Pecan French Toast". Amazing waitress, hospitality and great tasting food. They don't play games when their slogan on the wall says "Best Cuppa in town"

Second Best country fried steaks ive ever had. Ive been coast to coast like butter and toas& Its one of the best. not quite like momma makes it thats the only reason its second 😊

When traveling for work I like finding these local diners for breakfast. If you are in the Schaumburg, IL area come check this place out. A 1950’s styled diner with a great staff and you will not leave hungry!

This place is always dependable. Great staff, always friendly and accommodating. My motorcycle club loves to gather here for breakfast before rides. Food is great but it's the staff that makes the experience.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in the area. Staff is always extremely friendly and food is delicious! The 50s theme makes it a fun place for a weekend breakfast.

This is Rolling Meadow's version of Cheers. The crew that works here is fabulous! Gus, the owner and namesake of the place, is a sweetheart and truly makes all of his customers feel like family. Liz is our regular waitress and she doesn't even have to try to make you feel at home, it just comes naturally. All of the staff here are wonderful, I just haven't learned all of their names just yet. If you want a great cooked meal in a cozy spot, with wonderful service - look no further than Gus' Diner!! 💜

What a pleasant little dinner. It truly harkens back to an earlier time. This place is always abuzz with happy patrons and long time regulars for a reason. The food is delicious and service is prompt and attentive. The owner personally thanked us as we left giving it that extra genuine touch. You couldn't ask for more from any breakfast place.

Really digging this 50's themed "greasy spoon." Host and staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable. We enjoyed our skillets and I look for to visiting for lunch and perhaps a party melt!

By far the nicest owner and best quality restaurant of this type I have ever been to!!We just went here for take out of course. The owner Gus is truly a gem. He is so nice and accomodating. And the food is fabulous! Sandwiches are fresh, cream of chicken soup is my favorite. I can't wait to go in and eat, the restaurant is so cute!Thanks Gus!!

My youngest one usually goes to Gus with his wrestling team and he always comes home bragging about the food and how nice everyone is so during Spring break we just have to try it. I will say it felt a bit pricey but the food was good and the wait was not long. Gus is famous for being there and indeed he was! Very friendly staff and nice decor! I can see why my son lives this place so much!

Friendly greeting and then slow service because I was alone? Wait staff seemed more interested in tables with four people. Place is decorated with what appears to be replicas of Route 66 items. Ordered Eggs Benedict which is my test dish for diner's. Best I could give it was 3 stars. Presentation was poor and the hollandaise sauce tasted like instant.

Seen on Chicago's best and when I was on vacation decided to go try the banana bread French toast. Omg amazing they added fresh strawberries on top and it was the best thing I had ever tried. The staff was so great they really do have the family hospitality. I felt like I was visiting a family's house. This place I so amazing and I highly recommend it.

Always come here around Thanksgiving for my high school hockey tournament. Love it here.

Gus's diner was awesome. It had a nice diner vibe to it, with cool 50's diner stuff all over. The staff was great, and very friendly. The food was very tasty as well. I will definitely be coming back

It was really busy so there was a bit of a wait but the food was delicious and the service was very friendly!
